Next door at the Landing there's a book club, classes and exhibits. Out the front door there's a year of Olalla traditions, and we're glad to be in the middle of them.

It started in September 2025 with A Coat Dyed Black by Kitsap author Don Pugnetti Jr., who came to talk it through. Read along, or just show up with a pint and listen.

The Olalla year

January 1Polar Bear Plunge. Official certificates, changing stations and a place to warm up at the Landing. Jump, or come watch.
JulyOlalla Lavender Festival. We're the presenting sponsor and a stop on the route, with festival specials on the menu.

DecemberSanta's trip around Olalla. It has been bringing smiles to local kids for generations.
December 24The Christmas Eve book hunt. Books hidden all around Olalla, with photo clues posted at noon sharp. Naughty or nice, everyone deserves a good holiday read.

Book the Landing

For decades it was Olalla's post office, then a storage shed for Al's. Now it's a bright room on the water with a tiny stage, a view of Colvos Passage and, on a clear day, the mountain.

Yoga, a sewing group, a kids' Pokémon club, family parties and community meetings all happen here. When the calendar is open, the room is yours. [Add rates or booking terms.]
